- Server logs — like every web server, ours records IP addresses, user agents, referrers, and request paths. Logs are kept for 30 days for security and debugging, then deleted.
- Analytics — if enabled, we use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to count visits and understand which articles are read. We do not collect personally identifying analytics data.
- Cookies — the site sets a small number of functional cookies. We do not set advertising or tracking cookies set by us. Third-party embeds (such as YouTube videos, if embedded) may set their own cookies.
- Contact forms and email — if you write to us, we keep your message and email address until the conversation is resolved. We do not add your address to any marketing list without permission.
- Newsletter — if you subscribe to our newsletter, your email is stored with our email provider for delivery purposes only. You can unsubscribe in one click from any email.

We use the information above to serve and improve the site, respond to messages, send newsletters you requested, and protect the site against abuse. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties.
Third-party services
We use a small number of third-party services to operate. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Hosting provider — for serving the site and storing content.
- Email provider — for newsletter delivery.
- Analytics provider (if enabled) — for aggregate visitor statistics.
- Advertising network (if enabled) — Google AdSense or similar may serve ads. Ad networks have their own privacy practices that we do not control.
Your rights
You can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing the address on our contact page. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy materially, we will note the change at the top of the page and adjust the "last updated" date. Trivial changes (typo fixes, link updates) are made without notice.
